Coming to the next step, find relevancy with the keyword query which are sorted out with the help of many algorithms. Finally the last step is of retrieving and showing the result to its end-user. They are sorted with the most related starting on the top and ending with least.

Although every search engine has to perform the same procedures but a single change can produce huge differences. Different factors are important for different search engines. It is possible for different search engines to display different results on top, like searching on Google, Yahoo or AltaVista might show you different results. It is due to different factors they encounter. Factors are the reason that sometimes you are not able to view the same results. The Seo expert joked heavily when they came to know out that both Bing and Google were exactly opposite of each other.

Simply, seo is a process of how search engine works and combined with knowledge of what a human is looking for. It is simply to understand that this whole Internet search is based on the fundamental of SEO.
